Ateneo de Manila University.

About

Alex Amansec is an adventurous writer. She tells stories in many different ways (e.g. performances, stage plays, fiction, poetry, and essays). Recently, she concluded her internship as a lifestyle writer at the Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation.Alex is also actively involved theater; she is member of the organizations Tanghalang Ateneo (TA) and Ateneo ENTABLADO (ENTA). Her deep passion for the performing arts has led her to land a leading role in TA’s 2023 production of Tartuffe: O Ang Manloloko. She is currently a cast member of TA's Sintang Dalisay, to open in July 2024. Her keen dedication to the craft has earned her praise from her peers and industry professionals, prompting her to continue exploring more opportunities in the field.Alex is also dedicated to advocating for historical truths and social justice. As a deputy writer, she has contributed to the Ateneo Martial Law Museum’s (AMLM) mission by shedding light upon the dark period of the Martial Law in Philippine history through research-based essays and articles.She has Bachelor of Fine Arts degree Major in Creative Writing with a focus on nonfiction at the Ateneo de Manila University.
